Senior Architectural Director

Strength in leadership. Seeking an experienced Architect motivated to go to the next level in leading a dynamic, innovative architectural team. Creativity and innovation, with strong design abilities and visual communication skills are essential in producing design and construction documents for a diverse portfolio of educational, institutional, health care and multifamily projects across the province.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player who has:

  • Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited minimum 6 year university program with preferred minimum 6 years’ experience in an architecture practice. License and registration with AIBC to practice in BC or ability to transfer current province’s registration.
  • Strong English written, verbal and visual communication skills required.
  • Experience in educational facility design and document preparation is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and direct medium to large scale institutional and multi-family projects, including management of team members, consultants and client liaison.
  • Experienced in preparing and assembling complete construction documents for permit application and tender.
  • Proficiency in REVIT and applicable graphic presentation and visualization programs an asset.

Senior Architectural Technologist/Intern Architect

The ideal candidate will be a team player who has:

  • Proficiency in REVIT, Adobe Creative Suite, applicable graphic presentation and visualization programs.
  • Diploma or Post-Secondary degree in Architecture or Building Sciences with minimum 5+ years’ experience in the production of construction drawings for multiple medium to large scale projects.
  • Excellent English written, verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Organized, able to work well independently, multi-task and prioritize with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in educational facility or multi-family design and document preparation is beneficial.
  • Ability to prepare and assemble complete construction documents for permit application and tender.

Interior Designer

Passionate to make a difference, we are seeking a Interior Designer to provide leadership and expertise in material and furniture selection for school, theatre, community centre and multi-family projects.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player who has:

  • Registered Interior Designer, with minimum 2 years’ experience. Undergrad or equivalent in Interior Design to be considered.
  • Ability to work well independently, is organized, able to multi-task and prioritize with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with the architectural, engineering, design, and/or construction industry.

Senior Contract Administrator & Field Services

Seeking an experienced Contract Administrator who is proactive, detail-oriented, communicates well and has experience with the construction industry. They will review projects in the construction phase on-site to ensure conformity, coordinate changes, review shop drawings, lead site meetings and coordinate with the project team to ensure a smooth-running project.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who has:

  • Minimum 2-year Architectural Technology Diploma, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience with BC construction methods and projects
  • Proficient knowledge in BC Building Code and its application to construction projects required
  • Certificate in fire-stopping procedures
  • Experience with reviewing shop drawings and processing construction administration paperwork
  • Valid BC drivers’ license, own vehicle and ability to drive throughout province
  • Excellent English written, verbal and visual communication skills
  • Organized, able to work well independently, flexible
