Skelton Park

Skelton Park is a re-development of a small urban oasis, which sits across the street from Chilliwack City Hall. The park was donated to the City of Chilliwack by the Skelton family and the park was specified to have a water feature. Previous work in the park had provided a water feature that proved un-workable and the feature sat in a non-functional state for many years. As higher density development around the park became an ideal motivation for a re-visioning of the park and its water feature.

The result of the work by CHP Architects, is a very contemporary water-wall feature and reflecting pool with new points of access to the seating areas and a spiral feature wall that proudly displays the park’s name to passing motorists.
